Complete 24 mm coleoid, 3D in pyrite. Early Callovian, Middle Jurassic, Ravin des Mines at La Boissine, to the west of the town of La Voulte-sur-Rhône in Ardèche, Southern France. Length to width ratio of the body is a little over 2. Head and arms make up 37% of total length and the arms seem to be webbed. Seems to be a juvenile Vampyronassa rhodanica. |
